Background:
Insurance requirements have been adjusted after a review of requirements related to Non-Exclusive Ambulance Franchise Agreements. The adjusted requirements substantially align with the requirements of large counties such as Miami-Dade and Orange County. The current Exhibit A of the Non-Exclusive Ambulance Franchise Agreements will be deleted and replaced with the adjusted Exhibit A attached to the First Amendment Non-Exclusive Ambulance Franchise Agreements. All current providers are in compliance.

Staff requests the Board approve and authorize the Chairman to execute the First Amendment to the Non-Exclusive Ambulance Franchise Agreements for Affordable Transport, Inc., Lifefleet Southeast, Inc. d/b/a American Medical Response, First 2 Aid EMS, Inc. d/b/a Trident EMS, National Health Transport, Inc., RG Ambulance Service, Inc. d/b/a American Ambulance and Rocky Mountain Holdings, L.L.C. d/ba Air Care.
