Background:
This parcel (No. 3) has been identified as being needed for additional right-of-way necessary for the Sand Lake Road Turn Lane Project. The owner (The Seminole County School Board / Tax ID No. 9-21-29-300-0110-0000) of the property located at 991 Sand Lake Road on the north side of Sand Lake Road, approximately 286± feet (0.05 miles) west of State Road 434, in Altamonte Springs, Florida, has agreed to sell and convey this additional right-of-way to Seminole County for the sum of $10.00, inclusive of all fees and costs. In addition to the additional right-of-way, a license agreement is need to allow for the installation of signal loops related to the traffic signal at the school entrance.

Staff requests the Board approve and authorize the Chairman to execute a Purchase Agreement related to Project Parcel No. 3 for right-of-way and a License Agreement necessary for the Sand Lake Road Turn Lane Project (700± SF) between the Seminole County School Board and Seminole County for $10.00, as full settlement and any other claim for compensation from which Seminole County might be obligated to pay relating to the parcel.
