Background:
RFP-604485-22/LNF will provide for the preventive maintenance, repairs, and emergency services and replacement of worn or defective parts and devices for chilled water systems. Billing is per location except for Force Majeure emergencies which will be billed utilizing labor rates.
This project was publicly advertised, and the County received one (1) submittal in response to the solicitation. The Evaluation Committee consisted of Sandra Aganovic, Public Works, Facilities Contracts and Leasing Coordinator; Barry Allen, Public Works, Facilities/Fleet Division Manager and Bradley Stewart Public Works, Facilities Manager, evaluated the submittal. Consideration was given to experience, project understanding/approach and price. The Evaluation Committee recommends award of the project to the top ranked firm, Johnson Controls Inc., Orlando.
Authorization for services by the Contractor under this agreement shall be in the form of written Release Orders issued and executed by the County. The agreement shall take effect the date of the execution by the County and shall run for a period of two (2) years. At the sole option of the County, may be renewed for three (3) successive periods not to exceed one (1) year each. The annual estimated usage amount is $415,000.00. Funds are available in Facilities Management General Fund 010560.530460 Item #4600105617.
