Background:

The City of Sanford has requested a portion of West 5^th Street, currently under Seminole County jurisdiction, be transferred to the City.  No unincorporated parcels are near this segment of road and the Public Works Department has no objections to the transfer.  This Interlocal Agreement will assign and transfer to the City of Sanford ownership of jurisdiction over and full functional responsibility for the segment of West 5^th Street.
