Background:
Relocate one (1) redundant AT&T fiber located at the entrance to the Public Safety Building to the rear (second entrance) of the building.
Planned road construction near the Public Safety Building puts existing AT&T fiber at risk of being cut, which would cause an outage and service disruption to the 9-1-1 system. The relocation of the fiber line will help to avoid any disruptions as a result of future road constructions and campus-wide Five Points construction.
Emergency 911 Fund Reserve balance after Mid-Year Adjustment is 3,007,934.

Staff recommends the Board approve and authorize the Chairman to execute a Resolution implementing the Budget Amendment Request (BAR) #23-042 in the Emergency 911 Fund to transfer $125,000.00 from reserves to relocate Fiber Redundancy lines at the Public Safety Building.
