Background:
IFB-604483-22/LNF will provide qualified contractors responsible for all supervision, labor, equipment, material, tools, machinery, transportation, and incidentals necessary to provide Caulking, Coatings, Joint Sealant, and Pressure Washing Services on an as-needed basis for County owned properties.
This project was publicly advertised, and the County received seven (7) responses to the solicitation. One (1) response 3M Pressure Washing, LLC was found non-responsive because they did not provide pricing for each line item as was required. The Review Committee which consisted of Barry Allen, Fleet and Facilities Division Manager; Carlo Scorpio, Program Manager II and Bradley Stewart, Program Manager II, reviewed the submittals. Consideration was given to past performance, qualifications, and bid price. The Review Committee recommends award of Agreements to all responsive, responsible bidders, APW Painting Services LLC, Orlando; Five12 Painting & Remodeling LLC, Saint Cloud; Fleetwash, Inc. dba Krystal Klean, Jacksonville; General Caulking & Coatings Company, Inc., Oviedo; Lamphier & Company, Lake Monroe; and Razorback LLC, Tarpon Springs. Each project will be quoted by each contractor, and the lowest-priced quote will be awarded.
Authorization for performance under these Agreements will be in the form of written Release Orders issued and executed by the County. These Agreements will take effect on the date of their execution and will remain in effect for a period of three (3) years. At the sole option of the County, each agreement may be renewed for two (2) successive periods not to exceed one (1) year. The total estimated annual amount of these services is $400,000.00.
