Background:

IFB-5067-25/LTT will provide heavy equipment operators to ensure the continuation of operations for the Seminole County Solid Waste Management Division in the event of emergency staffing needs.

The project was publicly advertised, and the County received three (3) responses. The Review Committee, consisting of Nikia Stewart, Project Manager I; James Mullin, Environmental Programs Manager; and Kim Ornberg, Environmental Services Director, reviewed the responses giving consideration to the operator’s availability and experience.

The Review Committee recommends award for this project to Lets Work USA Inc., the lowest responsive, responsible bidder.

Authorization for performance under this Agreement will be in the form of written Purchase Orders issued by the County. The Agreement will take effect on the date of its execution and remain in effect for three (3) years. At the sole option of the County, the Agreement may be renewed for two (2) successive periods not to exceed one (1) year each.

The attached backup documentation, including the Tabulation Sheet, Notice of Recommended Award, and the Award Agreement with the scope of services, has been provided as part of this agenda item.
