Background:
RFP-604863-24/LAS will provide prompt, efficient, and courteous service to conduct large scale concessionaire operations at BOOMBAH Sports Complex. The BOOMBAH Sports Complex includes three (3) fully equipped concession buildings. Within each of these buildings is a room for food preparation and food sales, with a sale counter/window separating the customers from the room. Connected to each food preparation and sales room is a storage room for the exclusive use of the concessionaire. Concessionaire shall operate during all regularly scheduled games, tournaments, and other events held at BOOMBAH Sports Complex.
This project was publicly advertised, and the County received three (3) submittals in response to the solicitation. The Evaluation Committee consisted of Michael Wirsing, Deputy Director; Amanda Salazar, Division Manager; Steve Daugherty, Facility Manager; and Jaquelin Massaline, Financial Administrator, all from the Parks & Recreation Department. Consideration was given to project understanding/approach, proposed implementations, experience & qualifications, and proposed revenue returned to the County. The Evaluation Committee recommends award to the top ranked firm Altamonte Hospitality LP dba Hilton Altamonte Springs. The services to be rendered by the Concessionaire will commence on execution of the agreement and continue for a period of five (5) years. At the sole option of the County, this agreement may be renewed for two (2) successive years not to exceed one (1) year each.
Requested Action:
Staff requests that the board award RFP-604863-24/LAS - Food and Beverage Services at BOOMBAH Sports Complex of this project to Altamonte Hospitality LP dba Hilton Altamonte Springs, Altamonte Springs, FL and authorize the Purchasing and Contracts Division to execute the agreement.
