Background:

In November 2010, the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) approved a five (5) year lease agreement with the Seminole Sheriff's Office and the State of Florida Department of Law Enforcement for 150 square feet of space in the Seminole County Sheriff's Office and Public Safety Complex located at 100 Eslinger Way in Sanford, FL 32773. This space is used for law enforcement purposes. The lease became effective on December 1, 2010 for a term of five (5) years with an option to renew for two (2) successive periods of two (2) years each. On July 23, 2019, the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) approved an extension to the lease agreement for a five (5) year term with an option to renew for two (2) successive periods of two (2) years each. The five (5) year term matures on November 30, 2024.
