Background:
Seminole County Animal Services requests to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding with Together Every Animal Receives Support (T.E.A.R.S., Inc.), a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. The purpose of this MOU is to coordinate efforts to place shelter animals in suitable homes. This collaborative partnership is being memorialized after many decades of collaboration to reaffirm respective obligations and responsibilities for the rescue, care, placement, and welfare of animals in need in Seminole County.
Requested Action:
Staff requests the Board approve and authorize the Chairman to execute the Memorandum of Understanding between Seminole County and T.E.A.R.S., Inc.
