Background:
This Agreement contains all the necessary documents required for the successful execution of the MOA. The agreement outlines the scope of work, project improvements to be constructed within the County’s right-of-way as shown in Exhibit B, maintenance obligations, easement title, and air rights for all project facilities crossing County owned roadway, including, but not limited to, the bridges.
FDOT anticipates project construction to begin Spring 2024 and end Spring 2030. FDOT shall notify the County should any of these anticipated dates change. This agreement will remain in full force and effect for the duration of construction of the FDOT project.
Requested Action:
Staff requests the Board approve and authorize the Chairman to execute a Memorandum of Agreement between The State of Florida Department of Transportation and Seminole County related to the SR 417 (Seminole Expressway) Widening project (FPID 417545-1-52-01) from south of Aloma Avenue to north of SR 434.
