Background:

The Board of County Commissioners approved the execution of a grant contract in January 2025 in the amount of $1,091,884 with State of Florida Department of Children and Families for the Problem-Solving Court Diversion Program.  Fiscal year 2024/25 was appropriated $413,148 and BAR 26-002 will appropriate $370,110 for Fiscal Year 2025/2026.  There is no match requirement for grant funding.

To meet the objectives of the grant award, Seminole County will partner with Aspire Health Partners to deliver detox and residential services for the Problem-Solving Courts Diversion program.  The agreement includes up to $207,000 to provide services to Seminole County clients for three years.  The County Manager will execute the contract upon signing by Aspire Health Partners.
