Background:
Each year, Seminole County contracts with the State of Florida Department of Health (FDOH) to provide funding and health services specified by the state to be delivered to the residents of Seminole County. The appropriation by Seminole County for FY2025-2026 is an amount not to exceed $807,970 which is the same level of commitment as the County provided under the FY2023-2024 and FY2024-2025 contracts.
Subject to the budgetary limits set forth in the County’s annual appropriation, the FDOH-Seminole conducts an annual review of the services provided and their respective fees. As such, FDOH-Seminole has requested an amendment to the current fee schedule contained in Section 20.26 of the Seminole County Administrative Code. The attached Fee Schedule Resolution includes the requested amendments to existing services offered by the FDOH-Seminole, and their respective fees.
Requested Action:
Staff requests the Board approve and authorize the Chairman to execute a Resolution adopting the Florida Department of Health in Seminole County (FDOH-Seminole) fee schedule update to Section 20.26 of the Seminole County Administrative Code.
