Background:
RFP-604747-24/MHH will provide a qualified vendor to revamp, redesign, develop, implement, launch, and support a new website for Seminole County. The vendor has proven experience in designing, implementing Content Management System (CMS) platforms, developing, and supporting websites that support local governments (Cities,Counties, etc.) of similar size to Seminole County.
This project was publicly advertised, and the County received nine (9) proposals in response to the solicitation, three (3) of which were deemed non-responsive; one (1) for failure to comply with Section 3.23 “Instructions for the preparation of Submittals” and two (2) for failure to comply with Section 4.12 “Licenses”. The Evaluation Committee consisting of Carlos Vasquez, IT Team Lead - Solutions Delivery Group, Chris Patton, Director of Communications, Douglas Baker, IT Program Manager II, Andrea Wontor, Public Information Division Manager, Timothy Williams, IT Senior Programmer (Webmaster), Natalie Guerra, IT Senior Programmer, and Howard Xi, IT Senior Programmer, evaluated the proposals.
Consideration was given to the respondent's firm experience, qualifications and references, personnel and dedicated staffing, project management approach and execution, technical knowledge, and cost. The Evaluation Committee requests award to the top-ranked firm, to SGS Technologie, LLC, Jacksonville.
Authorization for performance under this Agreement will be in the form of written Purchase Orders issued and executed by the County. The agreement will take effect on the date of its execution and remain in effect for a period of three (3) years. At the sole option of the County, the agreement may be renewed for two (2) successive periods not to exceed one (1) year each. The total 5-year cost of this project is $396,840.00.
