Background:
SS-604841-24/TLR will provide for the purchase of three (3) Fotokite Sigma drones from Ten-8 Fire & Safety, LLC which is the only authorized distributor of the Fotokite-Brand in Florida.
The Fire Department selected this product due to the unique design and use. The Fotokite Sigma drone can be rapidly deployed on an emergency scene within 2 minutes and does not require constant supervision. This purchase includes three (3) Fotokite rugged command tablets with live application windows OS, remote video streaming, a subscription for one (1) year and on-site operator training. This drone meets the current security standards set forth by the State of Florida and has been reviewed and approved by the County’s IT Department. Staff is requesting authorization to purchase Fotokite Sigma Drones from Ten-8 Fire & Safety, LLC and renew the annual subscriptions each year in accordance with the approved budget.
