The lowest bid received for construction was with Schuller Contractors in the amount of $114,364. The department is requesting to add a 5% contingency which will increase the total amount needed to $120,083.

Funding for this project will come from the Smith Canal/Monroe Basin Project (CIP# 02007111). This project currently has $171K available and only needs $50K in funding for ongoing basin studies. There will be no impact to 2014 Infrastructure Sales Tax Fund reserves.
