Background:
CC-5764-24/TAD will provide rehabilitation and replacement services for process equipment at the Greenwood Lakes Water Reclamation Facility that has reached the end of its life cycle. The project was publicly advertised, and the County received five (5) bids in response to the solicitation. The Review Committee consisting of Michael Boggs, Project Manager II and Matthew Clark, Senior Engineer reviewed the responses. Consideration was given to bid price, experience, and qualifications.
The Review Committee recommends award to the lowest priced, responsive, responsible bidder, L7 Construction, Inc. in the amount of $3,128,700.00. The completion time for this project is (300) calendar days to substantial completion and an additional (40) calendar days to final completion for a total contract time of (340) calendar days from the issuance of a Notice to Proceed by the County.
The Engineer’s Estimate for this project is $2,452,000.00.
This is a budgeted project and funds are available in GWL WRF R&R (Acct #00227416.560650.00001)
