Background:

Seminole County has submitted a permit application for the De Leon Street (Sweetwater/Solary Canal) Erosion Project to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). Due to wetland impacts associated with the project, USACE requires the purchase of mitigation credits.

To meet these requirements, 0.45 Corps WRAP General Wetland Credits must be purchased from Holland Properties, Inc. in the amount of $6,750.00.

Requested Action:

Staff requests the Board approve and authorize the Chairman to execute the Wetland Mitigation Credit Reservation and Sale Agreement with Holland Properties, Inc. in the amount of $6,750.00, to comply with USACE permit application requirements for issuance of permit for the De Leon Street (Sweetwater/Solary Canal) Project.
