Background:
IFB-5216-26/AES, Traffic Data Collection Services, will provide traffic data collection services required to support and monitor the growth management activities, as well as providing data to support traffic studies to meet the needs of Seminole County.
The project was publicly advertised, and the County received seven (7) total responsive, responsible bids. The Review Committee consisting of Michael Blinn, Project Manager II, and Charles Wetzel, County Traffic Engineer, reviewed the responses. Consideration was given to past performance, qualifications and bid price as the determining factors.
The Review Committee recommends award for this project to Quality Traffic Data, LLC, lowest responsive, responsible bidder.
Authorization for performance under this Agreement will be in the form of written Purchase Orders issued by the County. The Agreement will take effect on the date of its execution and remain in effect for three (3) years. At the sole option of the County, the Agreement may be renewed for two (2) successive periods not to exceed one (1) year each. The estimated annual amount for this project is $100,000. The budget for this item is located under account business unit #077709.
The attached backup documentation includes the Tabulation Sheet, Notice of Recommended Award, and the Award Agreement, including the scope of services, which has been provided as part of this agenda item.
