Background:
To comply with Chapter 401 of the Florida Statute, entities desiring to provide ambulance transport services within county geographical boundaries must receive a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity (COPCN) from that county. Seminole County, under Section 17 of the Seminole County Code, requires ambulance franchise agreements to be established for the provision of non-emergency transport services.
Requested Action:
