Background:

Parcel #1-832 has been identified as being necessary for a drainage easement for the Midway Drainage Improvement Project.  The owner, (PNT Property Partners, LP, a Florida Limited Partnership N/K/A PNT Property Partners LP Business Trust LP, a Florida Limited Partnership (Tax ID #32-19-31-513-0000-2310) have agreed to sell and convey this drainage easement to Seminole County for $4,920.00, inclusive of all fees and costs. The property is located at the southwest corner of Kings Road and Center Street in Sanford, Florida.

 

The parent property is vacant and consists of 0.10 ± acres of land.  The County’s valuation of this acquisition is $2,600.00; a portion of which includes the cost to cure to make the owners whole.  The County’s incentivized offer amount was $4,920.00 and was accepted by the owner, inclusive of all fees and costs.

Requested Action:

Staff requests the Board approve and authorize the Chairman to execute a Purchase Agreement related to Parcel #1-832, acquiring 207 ± SF for a drainage easement necessary for the Midway Drainage Improvement Project. The agreement is between PNT Property Partners, LP, a Florida Limited Partnership N/K/A PNT Property Partners LP Business Trust LP, a Florida Limited Partnership and Seminole County for $4,920.00, as full settlement and any other claim for compensation from which Seminole County might be obligated to pay relating to the parcel.
