Background:
CC-5761-24/MAG provides construction services for the widening the existing southbound lane along Country Club (from Lake Mary Blvd to 3rd St.); widening the existing northbound right turn lane along Country Club (from the existing driveway to Lake Mary Blvd); widening the existing northbound right turn lane along Country Club (from Lake Mary Blvd to E. Lakeview Ave); extension of existing eastbound left turn lane along Lake Mary Blvd; and the construction of four (4) new mast arms at the intersection.
Change Order #2 will provide for additional funding (9%) to cover cost increases associated with unforeseen site conditions and associated additional work. The change order exceeds 5% of the original contract, requiring Board approval. Following is a Cost Summary of this Agreement:
Original Contract Sum: $2,915,290.75
Change Order #1: (Time Only - No Change in Dollar Amount)

Revised Agreement Total: $3,176,822.27
Budget Amendment Request (BAR) #25-061 is a request to add additional funds for Change Order #2 and the Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) Workorder 12 in order to extend and continue services due to the addition of 91 days to the construction contract. Additional funds are also needed for Post Design Services to reflect final constructed conditions including changes made during construction.
The cost is consistent for a construction project.

Staff requests the Board approve Change Order #2 to CC-5761-24/MAG - Constructions Services Agreement for the Lake Mary Blvd at Country Club Road Intersection Improvements Project, in the amount of $261,531.52 with CFE Corporation, and authorize the Purchasing and Contracts Division to execute the Change Order; and approve and authorize the Chairman to execute a Resolution implementing Budget Amendment Request (BAR) #25-061 in the Core Mobility Fund to appropriate funding in the amount of $376,631.
