Background:
The Florida Division of Emergency Management approved additional FEMA funding for the HMGP Irma Hillview Stormwater Drainage (Phase 2) project in the amount of $1,571,945.25; along with a contract extension to February 28, 2027 to complete this project. The total cost of the project (Phase 1 and 2) is $10.3M, with $5.9M funded through HMGP grants. No additional County funding is needed. The County Manager will be authorized to sign the time extension contract amendment.

Staff requests the Board approve and authorize the Chairman to execute a Resolution implementing Budget Amendment Request (BAR) 26-048 in the amount of $1,571,946 through the Hazard Mitigation Fund to increase the budget for the HMGP Hillview stormwater project Phase II construction; and authorize the County Manager to execute the time extension contract.
