Background:
This Service Level Agreement authorizes T-Mobile to route all FCC-designated 3-1-1 non-emergency local government calls originating from cellular devices to the Seminole County Switchboard. The 3-1-1 system is intended to provide residents and visitors with a centralized, easy-to-remember point of contact for non-emergency government information, public service requests, and general assistance.
The agreement supports improved public access to County services by ensuring that wireless callers dialing 3-1-1 are properly connected to the County’s switchboard operations. The Seminole County Switchboard, managed collaboratively by the Office of Emergency Management and the Office of Communications, serves as a critical public information resource during both daily operations and emergency situations.
Approval of this agreement will continue to enhance customer service capabilities, improve accessibility to local government resources, and support coordinated public communications throughout Seminole County.
