Background:
RFP-604745-24/LNF will provide for Agent/Broker services to place the following insurance coverages on behalf of the County and other entities participating in its self-insurance fund: property, general liability, boiler and machinery, auto liability, public officials errors and omissions, employment practices liability, cyber liability, pollution liability, crime, excess workers’ compensation, flood, aviation, and such other forms of coverage as may become applicable to a government self-insured risk management program.
This project was publicly advertised, and the County received two (2) proposals in response to the solicitation. The Evaluation Committee consisting of Lorie Bailey Brown, CFO/Resource Management Director; Alicia Castillo, Risk Management Claims Manager, and William Telkamp, Risk Division Manager, evaluated the proposals. Consideration was given to the qualifications and experience of the firms and personnel, their program design/implementation/methodology and proposed cost. The Evaluation Committee recommends award to the top ranked firm Arthur J. Gallagher Risk Management Services, Inc., Orlando. Compensation is capped at $95,000.00 annually, this will be paid in the form of commission by the carriers and will not be charged to the County.
This Agreement will take effect on the date of the execution by the County and will continue for a term of three (3) years. At the sole option of the County, this Agreement may be renewed for two (2) successive periods not to exceed one (1) year each.
Authorization for provision of services by the Consultant under this Agreement will be in the form of written Purchase Orders issued and executed by the County. Funds are available in Resource Management General Fund and will be split between the following: 010504.530450 & 010506.530450.
