Background:

The County established mobility fees in 2021 to replace the expired road impact fees.  An amendment to the County’s Land Development Code was done at the time and established a time frame of every four years for mobility fees to be reviewed and for updates to be made unless otherwise directed by the Board. A project was established that included funding for this study to evaluate fees. The project became partially unfunded earlier in the year and the Department is requesting to refund the project to have a budget of $225K. There is currently 54K available in the project, and an additional $170,127 is being requested.

The attached BAR will allocate $170,127 from 2014 Infrastructure Sales Tax reserves. Current reserve budget is $6.67M.
