Background:
CC-6517-25/HSM will provide improvements for the expansion of the existing landfill gas collection and control system (GCCS) in Phase III Area at the Osceola Road Landfill located at 1930 E Osceola Road, Geneva, FL 32732. The work to be performed by the contractor consists of, but is not limited to, furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, incidentals and operations, and performing all work necessary to complete the project.
The project was publicly advertised and the County received (4) four bids in response to the solicitation. The Review Committee consisting of Oliver Bond, Division Manager, Nakia Stewart, Project Manager, and James Mullin, Environmental Programs Manager all from the Solid Waste reviewed the responses giving consideration to bid price, qualifications and experience.
The Review Committee recommends award to the lowest priced, responsive, responsible bidder Integrity Environmental, LLC., of Monroe, NC in the amount of $1,099,800.00. The completion time for this project is three hundred thirty-five (335) calendar days to Substantial Completion and an additional thirty (30) days to Final Completion after the issuance of a Notice to Proceed by the County.
The Engineer’s Estimate for the project is $1,214,080.86.
This is a budgeted project, and funds are available in Landfill Gas System Expansion (Acct# 650999901.00244604.560650.00001).
