Background:
IFB-604900-24/LNF will provide all materials, labor, transportation, coordination, insurance, bonds and incidentals necessary to perform services and to furnish products for the Seminole County Pavement Management Program.
This project was publicly advertised, and the County received six (6) bids in response to the solicitation. The Review Committee, comprised of Michael Garcia, Program Manager II; Ted Holmes, Chief Construction Engineer; and Stephen Thomas, Project Coordinator II, reviewed the submittals. Consideration was given to past performance, qualifications, and proposed price schedule. The review committee recommends award of the project to the lowest priced, responsible, responsive bidders, Halifax Paving, Inc., Ormond Beach, Hubbard Construction Company, Winter Park, Masci General Contractor, Inc., Port Orange, Middlesex Paving, LLC, Orlando, P & S Paving, Inc., Daytona Beach, and Preferred Materials, Inc., Lutz.
Contractors will be utilized on a rotation basis. Authorization for performance under these agreements shall be in the form of Purchase Orders issued and executed by the County. These agreements take effect on the date of execution and shall run for a period of three (3) years, and at the sole option of the County each agreement may be renewed for two (2) successive periods not to exceed one (1) year each. The estimated annual amount of these services is $9,000,000.
