Background:
This item seeks Board approval of the First Amendment to the Term Contract for Media Services for Seminole County Tourism (RFP‑5078‑25/LTT) with Evok Advertising & Design, Inc. The original agreement, executed on October 29, 2025, established Evok as the County’s media services provider for tourism-related marketing, digital content, and promotional activities.
Since the contract’s execution, Seminole County has experienced increased demand for enhanced tourism media services driven in part by the recent success and visibility of local high school sports programs. These expanded needs include streaming and digital broadcast support, social media and digital content monetization, and retail and merchandising opportunities that leverage County sports facilities and events.
To accommodate this growth, the County and Contractor desire to amend the agreement to:
• Add Exhibit I - Commercialization Services Statement of Work, authorizing Evok to develop, manage, and support County‑approved commercialization opportunities across sports facilities, digital platforms, and events for the purpose of generating new tourism‑related revenue.
• Update compensation provisions to establish that Evok will retain ten percent (10%) of commercialization revenue collected on behalf of the County, remitting the remaining ninety percent (90%) in accordance with monthly reporting requirements.
• Revise the contract term by allowing two renewal periods of up to two years each and adding options for two additional one‑year extensions upon mutual agreement.
• Clarify administrative, billing, and reporting procedures for both traditional media services and commercialization‑related revenue.
All other terms and conditions of the original agreement remain unchanged. Approval of this First Amendment will allow the County to expand its tourism media capabilities, enhance sports‑related promotional reach, and create new revenue-generating opportunities through partnership with Evok Advertising & Design, Inc.
