Background:
The Cameron Preserve Final Plat was approved by the Board of County Commissioners on June 11, 2024, and recorded in Plat Book 90, Pages 23 - 31 of the Public Records of Seminole County, Florida. As part of the recording process, the Applicant (KB Home Orlando LLC) recorded a quitclaim deed conveying the ownership of multiple tracts within the subdivision to Seminole County; however, ownership of these tracts should have been conveyed to the Cameron Preserve Homeowners Association of Seminole County, Inc (H.O.A.) per the dedication on the plat. To correct the error, Seminole County shall convey the ownership of Tracts A, LB1, BL2, PD1, TS1, OS1, and OS2, to the Cameron Preserve Homeowners Association of Seminole County, Inc., via a County Deed.
The revised deed has been provided to correct the error and is within the agenda package.
Requested Action:
Staff requests the Board authorize the transfer of ownership for the indicated tracts within the Cameron Preserve Subdivision from Seminole County back to KB Home Orlando LLC to correct a conveyance to the County made in error.
