Background:
This parcel (#1-871) has been identified as being needed for a drainage easement necessary for our Midway Drainage Improvement Project. The owner (G. Charles Wohlust as Personal Representative of the Estate of Snow Ethel Jones / Tax ID #33-19-31-507-0000-2130) of the property located on the west side of Jitway Avenue, approximately 280 feet north of State Road 46, in Sanford, Florida, has agreed to sell and convey this drainage easement to Seminole County for the sum of $5,260.00 inclusive of all fees and costs.
The parent property is vacant and consists of 0.10 ± acres of land. The County’s valuation of this acquisition is $2,800.00; a portion of which includes the cost to cure to make the owner whole. The County’s incentivized offer amount was $5,260.00, which was accepted by the owner, inclusive of all fees and costs.
