Background:
At the 3/24/2026 BCC meeting the Board approved the submission of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) for the Florida Boating Improvement Program (FBIP) requesting up to $315,000 for the Lake Jesup Boat Ramp Planning and Design Project; and authorized the County Manager or designee to execute all documents associated with the FBIP grant application. The application was submitted to Florida Fish and Wildlife on 4/13/26. FWC requested an official Board Resolution signed by the Chairman which designates both the authorized signatory and the project manager for this grant application.
Requested Action:
Staff requests the Board approve and authorize the Chairman to execute a Resolution for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission for the Florida Boating Improvement Program grant submission for the Lake Jesup Boat Ramp Planning and Design grant.
