Background:
PS-3047-20/RTB provides engineering services to prepare a final design package for construction of roadway improvements to State Road 434 from west of Jetta Point to south of Artesia Street. The objective of the project is to widen the roadway, improve roadway safety, construct roundabouts, address drainage issues, add bicycle lanes and sidewalks, etc. Amendment #1 was approved by the Board on July 26, 2022.
Amendment #2 will provide design changes to reduce Right-of-Way impacts along SR434 as directed by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) on June 29, 2023. The added scope is needed to perform the reanalysis and provides the County with alternative concepts that will be summarized in a Concept Evaluation Memo and a concept plan/profile that will be presented to FDOT for approval.
This amendment also replaces Exhibit C - Rates Schedule of the original Agreement due to increase in the consultants loaded hourly rates.
