Background:
Seminole County Public Works, in the course of the Design Plans development and coordination with FDOT and SunRail on the Construction and CEI Phase of the Project (CIP #s 00205311/01785150) has found it in their mutual best interests that they enter into a Locally Funded Reimbursement Agreement for this project wherein Seminole County would fund the construction of the improvements at this location and, in return, be reimbursed by the FDOT the sum of money expended pursuant to the course of the agreement. The work includes design and installation of railroad signal infrastructure, gate systems, and associated civil improvements necessary to support roadway and pedestrian enhancements. The budget for this item is located under account business unit #02407109.
Requested Action:
Staff requests the Board approve and authorize the Chairman to execute a Resolution authorizing the Chairman to execute the Locally Funded Reimbursement Agreement in the amount of $7,357,142.00 and a Three-Party Escrow Agreement with the State of Florida Department of Transportation for State Road 434 at County Road 427 Intersection Improvements from Milwee Avenue to Oleander Street.
