Background:

This parcel (No. 105) has been identified as being needed for property interests necessary for the Hillview Drive Drainage Improvement Project.  The owners (Reginald C. Floyd and Patricia A. Floyd / Tax ID No. 22-21-29-300-019C-0000) of the property located at 650 Hillview Drive on the north side of Hillview Drive,  approximately 315± feet (0.06 miles) west of Mathews Road, in Altamonte Springs, Florida, have agreed to sell and convey needed property interests to Seminole County for the sum of $44,540.00, inclusive of all fees and costs.

 

The property is vacant and consists of 0.08± acres of land. The County’s valuation of this acquisition is $30,500.00. The County’s incentivized offer amount was $44,540.00, which was accepted by the owner, inclusive of all fees and costs.

 

Requested Action:

Staff requests the Board approve and authorize the Chairman to execute a Purchase Agreement related to Project Parcel No. 105 for property interests necessary for the Hillview Drive Drainage Improvement Project (3,750± SF) between Reginald C. Floyd and Patricia A. Floyd and Seminole County for  $44,540.00, as full settlement and any other claim for compensation from which Seminole County might be obligated to pay relating to the parcel.
