Background:
On November 17, 2025, Gov. DeSantis announced that state offices will be closed for several extra days in celebration of the holidays.
Following Gov. DeSantis’s direction to state employees, these extra days off are in addition to the regular holiday schedule provided in the Administrative Code Section 503.0 Holidays.
Requested Action:
Staff requests the Board approve two extra paid days off during the holiday season; Friday, December 26, 2025 and Friday, January 2, 2026.
