Background:
The Fire Station 39 Access Road (CIP#02207083) is a new road that will provide connection for emergency vehicles from Fire Station 39 to International Parkway. This new roadway will provide quick access to International Parkway and decrease response times.
The bid for construction of this project plus a 5% contingency is $3.6M. Currently there is $2M available in construction funding. The attached BAR will add another $1.6M to cover the lowest bid. A cost table is attached. Funds will be transferred from existing project budgets with funding that has been postponed based on project scheduling. There will be no impact to 2014 Infrastructure Sales Tax reserves.
