Background:
Section 8.5 of the Administrative Code includes negotiation and settlement procedures for claims made against the County and claims made by the County. The Code also includes a provision for a Risk Management Executive Committee. Historically, the Risk Management Executive Committee was used to discuss healthcare insurance, but it has not been used in the last 10 years. This update removes the committee from the Code and updates the approval tier and thresholds.
