Background:
The purpose of this Public Hearing is to present the Final Millage Rates and Budget for Fiscal Year 2026-27 and to allow for public comments. This public hearing was advertised the County’s website on Thursday, September 17, 2026.
Final Millage Rates
• Countywide millage of 5.3751 is 4.18% above the rolled-back rate of 5.1595 mills.
• Fire MSTU millage of 2.7649 is 4.06% above the rolled-back rate of 2.6569 mills.
• Roads MSTU millage of 0.1107 is 4.24% above the rolled-back rate of 0.1062 mills.
• Aggregate millage for all BCC taxing districts of 7.3620mills is 4.01% above the aggregate rolled-back rate of 7.0781mills.
Final Budget
• Final Countywide Budget of $1,270,769,880 for all funds.
