Background:
The Oxford Road Improvements Project consists of improvements to Oxford Road from Fern Park Boulevard north to SR 436, and the extension of Fern Park Boulevard from Oxford Road west to US 17-92. Part of the project scope is to convert the overhead power lines to underground service and to install decorative light poles. For Duke Energy to move the power lines underground the following agreements with Duke Energy need to be executed. The total cost associated with the Agreements is $1,165,198.42.
Easement Acquisition Agreement Related to Underground Conversion (attached) for Duke Energy to hire Land Staff, LLC to provide ROW acquisition services. Cost is $17,279.00.
Underground Conversion Agreement Based on a Binding Cost Estimate and Utility Reimbursement Agreement (both attached) for converting the overhead power lines to underground service. Cost is $666,929.71.
FL01 Lighting Service Agreement (attached) is for the installation of decorative light poles. Cost is $227,532.71 plus $2,230.91 monthly charge.
Master Services Agreement (attached) for the reconnection of power to the existing buildings (at 80, 98, 102, 125, 126, 128, 130, and 150 Oxford Rd). Cost is $253,457.00.
