Background:
RFP-5089-25/LAS will provide repairs and services for County owned vehicles and operating equipment as needed.
The project was publicly advertised, and the County received five (5) responses listed alphabetically below.
• Cumberland International Trucks Of Florida, LLC
• Dobbs Equipment, LLC
• EFE, Inc. dba Everglades Equipment Group
• National Equipment Dealers, LLC
• Orlando Freightliner, Inc.
The Evaluation Committee consisting of Raymond Kelly, Program Manager II; Daniel Alendal, Operations Manager; David Obregon, Fleet Maintenance Supervisor; Chad Wilsky, Director of Fleet and Facilities, evaluated the responses, giving consideration to the capability to perform required services, experience and past performance, ability to provide manufacturer warranty services and response time.
The Evaluation Committee recommends award for this project to EFE, Inc., dba Everglades Equipment Group and National Equipment Dealers, LLC, the top two-ranked firms.
Authorization for performance under this Agreement will be in the form of written Purchase Orders issued by the County. The Agreement will take effect on the date of its execution and remain in effect for three (3) years. At the sole option of the County, the Agreement may be renewed for two (2) successive periods not to exceed one (1) year each. The estimated usage amount for five years of service is $1,000,000.00. The budget is appropriated in Fleet Services (010540) account #530460.
The attached backup documentation includes the Tabulation Sheet, Evaluation Ranking and Scoring Summary, and the Award Agreement, including the scope of services, which has been provided as part of this agenda item.
