Background:

The CR419/SR426 Phase 3 Widening project (CIP#01785408) involves the widening of a segment of SR426/CR419 from Avenue B to Lockwood Blvd and will result in the completion of the two (2) lanes to four (4) lanes for SR46/CR419 from Pine Avenue to Lockwood Blvd in Oviedo.

This budget amendment will allocate additional funding for design. The bid for design is $1.8M which exceeded the initial engineering estimate of $1M. This BAR will allocate the additional $800K from exiting project budgets with funding that has been postponed due to scheduling. There will be no impact on 2014 Infrastructure Sales Tax reserves. Seminole County will be submitting a grant application to the US Department of Transportation for funding of the construction and CEI portion of this project in the future.
