Background:

This parcel (No. 1) has been identified as being needed for a Traffic Signal Pole Easement necessary for the Wekiva Springs Road Turn Lane Project.  The owner (Duke Energy Florida, LLC, a Florida Limited Liability Company / Tax ID No. 33-20-29-512-0000-0020) of the property located at 944 Wekiva Springs Road at the northeast corner of Wekiva Springs Road and Sabal Palm Drive, in the unincorporated area of Longwood, Florida, has agreed to sell and convey this Traffic Signal Pole Easement to Seminole County for the sum of $8,500.00, inclusive of all fees and costs.

 

Requested Action:

Staff requests the Board approve and authorize the Chairman to execute a Purchase Agreement related to Project Parcel No. 1 for a Traffic Signal Pole Easement necessary for the Wekiva Springs Road Turn Lane Project (717± SF) between Duke Energy Florida, LLC, a Florida Limited Liability Company and Seminole County for  $8,500.00, as full settlement and any other claim for compensation from which Seminole County might be obligated to pay relating to the parcel.
