Background:
Parcel #1-849 has been identified as necessary for a drainage easement for the Midway Drainage Improvement Project. The owners, Morrell DeBose, Jr., and G. Charles Wohlust, as Personal Representatives of the Estate of Blondenia L. DeBose, deceased and as Personal Representatives of the Estate of David Rogers, deceased (Tax ID #32-19-31-513-0000-0810) have agreed to sell and convey this drainage easement to Seminole County for $13,910.00, inclusive of all fees and costs. The property is located on the east side of Water Street, approximately 360 feet north of Midway Avenue, in Sanford, Florida.
The parent property is vacant and consists of 0.10 ± acres of land. The County’s valuation of this acquisition is $8,300.00; a portion of which includes the cost to cure to make the owners whole. The County’s incentivized offer amount was $13,910.00 and was accepted by the owners, inclusive of all fees and costs.
