Background:
Public Works Department, Fleet Operations Program is requesting to purchase a shop lift used for servicing and repairing vehicles. The current shop lift has had a critical failure of the lifting system and parts are no longer available to repair the equipment. With this lift out of service, the bay cannot be used to perform repairs under a vehicle causing delays in repairs by the shop due to our limited space.
Funds are available within the Generator Load Bank Project (CIP#02107056) to transfer to this project. No impact to Fleet Replacement Fund reserves.
