Background:

RFP-6712-25/HSM Building Program Development Services for Proposed Seminole County Indoor Complex Venue will provide consulting services and will partner with Seminole County to expand upon the County’s existing vision, further refine the project scope, and develop recommendations that identify the most viable and sustainable path forward which meets the county’s expectations of the project.

The Project was publicly advertised, and the County received two (2) responses listed alphabetically below:

                     Pizzuti Solutions, LLC

                     Sports Facilities Management, LLC

The Evaluation Committee, consisting of Rick Durr, Director; Michael Wirsing, Deputy Director; Amanda Salazar, Division Manager; all from the Parks and Recreation Department, Kristian Swenson, Deputy County Manager and Guilherme Cunha, Director of Economic Development and Tourism evaluated the responses and agreed to interview both firms, giving equal consideration to each firm.

The Evaluation Committee recommends that the Board approve the award and authorize the Purchasing and Contracts Division to execute an agreement for the top-ranked firm.

2.                     Sports Facilities Management, LLC

The attached backup documentation includes the Tabulation Sheet, Evaluation Ranking Sheet, and Presentation Scoring Sheets. A Draft agreement, including the scope of services has been provided as a part of this agenda item. The fees will be negotiated by Staff prior to commencement of work. Authorization for services will be upon execution of the Agreement issued and executed by the County and signed by the Consultant. 

The budget for this item is located under BU# 011060, and funds will become available with the Chairman authorization of the execution of a Resolution implementing Budget Amendment Request (BAR) #26-004 in the Tourism Improvement District Fund to transfer $281,050 from reserves.
