Background:

Seminole County Public Works, in the course of permitting under the previous Old Mims Road and S Jungle Road Drainage Improvements Project (CIP 02307093) with the St. Johns River Water Management District, it was determined by the District that this project required the purchase of 0.23 Mitigation Credits to mitigate impacts to the wetlands within the project limits in order to issue the permit. The budget for this item is located under account business unit #02307095.

Requested Action:

Staff requests the Board approve and authorize the Chairman to execute an Agreement for the Purchase of 0.23 Mitigation Credits for the Old Mims Road and S Jungle Road Drainage Improvements Project in the amount of $27,600.00 from the Farmton Mitigation Bank, owned and operated by Miami Alternatives, LLC.
