Background:
The estimated annual cost, including benefits, for the positions and their respective paybands are as follows:
• Animal Care Specialist (G2) $50,400
• Animal Services Officer (G6) $61,260
This budget amendment will fund these positions at three quarters of a year which totals $167,490.
Requested Action:
Staff requests the Board approve and authorize the Chairman to execute a Resolution implementing Budget Amendment Request (BAR) 26-011 in the General Fund to transfer $167,490 from reserves for the addition of 4 FTEs in the Animal Services Division.
