Background:
Alert Seminole is the emergency text, voice, and e-mail alerting system for Seminole County. It is part of a larger program funded by the State of Florida. Each city that requests access to the system signs an MOU with the County. This agreement will authorize the City of Altamonte Springs to utilize Alert Seminole for emergency alerts inside the City.
Requested Action:
Staff requests the Board approve and authorize the Chairman to execute the Memorandum of Agreement with the City of Altamonte Springs for use of Alert Seminole.
