Background:

On January 31, 2025, Habitat for Humanity of Seminole County and Greater Apopka, Florida, Inc. Certified a Quit Claim Deed for an undeveloped parcel - Parcel Identification Number: 36-19-30-518-0300-0040 - to Seminole County for the purpose of adding it to the Attainable Housing Land Bank.  The Quit Claim Deed was certified prior to the completion of the land assessment protocol performed by the Division of Land Management.  To comply with the policies and procedures established by the Division of Land Management, the County Attorney’s Office recommends that the parcel be deeded back to Habitat for Humanity until such assessment has been completed.
